Riley update

My little guy is 8 months old!  He learned to crawl at the beginning of November and has been surprisingly good.  The only real downside to his new mobility is that he puts EVERYTHING in his mouth.  He has discovered Wookies dog food and water, which is now put up everyday after she eats.  He has munched on paper and I'm sure he's swallowed some.  Even though we sweep every day he still finds stuff to taste. 

His favorite thing to do in the evening is go find grandma.  He goes to her office and yells for her if she's not there.  Eventually he'll find her in her chair and go visit for a while.  My mom has this metal basket stand by the fridge.  She keeps the bottom  basket empty because he'll pull out the stand and swing the basket.  If he had better balance and arm strength he'd probably be up and walking along the furniture already.  He likes to crawl around like a monkey on his hands and feet.  I have noticed over the months that his upper body strength is lacking on the side where his shoulder was displaced at birth.  It may take him a little longer to do things but he eventually does it.

We love our Riley and are thoroughly enjoying him!
